hi,
i just got a look at my *first* 4x5 transparency made from
a Lightwave file-it looks great ! (IMHO :-)
this may seem obvious, but there is NO comparison
between looking at your images on a monitor and
seeing a crisp transparency, esp. when the image
is rendered at Print resolution. Lightwave really
renders imagemaps beautifully-i'm very glad i wend
with all 24bit imagemaps-
I rendered at print resolution, medium antialiasing,(i couldn't
wait for the high antialiasing :-( ) threshold 16,
I rendered one file with a dither setting per the manual suggestion,
and one with soft filter-i'll see if there is a difference in
output...
thanks to all who helped out with my aspect ratio problem-
scaling at either 115 H or 85% V was the consensus for future reference.
I actually re-rendered one image using the square pixel setting, so
i will see how that one came out too.
